PDO is looking to contribute to the shift towards clean energy production and reduce the use of fossil fuels to generate electricity, especially in areas far from residential communities. The water well in the Al-Awifiya area is in the company’s concession areas. It is one of the most important examples, where the well produces approximately 14 kilowatts of the clean energy that is used to draw water from the well and pump it into the water tanks, which in turn nourish the nearby residential areas.
